You can customize how the timer is displayed, whether you want to see big numbers, see the type and number equally, focus on rounds, keep the menu on-screen etc.
Add songs to your timer and you'll always have the right beat/tune to work out to. Having the right music to work out with is so important to create the right atmosphere and give you motivation.
Visual cues become so important when you're in an environment that is noisy, you need to be able to see where you're at. You can assign colors to the screen for different parts of the workout to visually get your cues.
There is even the option to use your phone for keeping track of your rounds and reps. If you can't do it yourself you can get your trainer or partner to use it.
